Confirmation is a two year program for those in the 7th and 8th grade designed to train young people how to be active disciples of Jesus Christ. It is a comprehensive program including education, worship, fellowship, and service. The education section meets on Wednesday nights, 6:00-7:15 pm, during B.A.S.I.C. Training. Luther’s Small Catechism with Explanation and the Bible are the text books studied in class. The process culminates with the rite of Confirmation and receiving communion for the first time. Those confirming their faith make banners which are hung in church.
